Product Update: One Talkwise for Consult and Telephony

One Talkwise, everywhere

Until now, Talkwise had two slightly different personalities. The consult page had one settings panel, telephony had another. Same feature, different knobs. That meant two things to learn, two places to remember, and the occasional "why doesn't this option exist here?" moment.

That's gone. Consult and telephony now share the same unified settings card. SOEP and Generiek presets, speaker count, report toggles: all in one place, with the same layout in both views. Once you've set things up, they save and collapse automatically so the page stays calm.

It's a quieter change than a whole new feature, but one you'll notice every day.

Insights you can act on

Talkwise history used to be just a list.

Now it has a proper usage insights panel on top: trends over time, per-user activity breakdowns, and a clearer picture of how Talkwise is actually being used across your team. If you're managing a practice, it's the first time you can answer "how much is the team using this?" without exporting anything.

We also upgraded search. You can now find calls by user name, not just by date. A small thing, huge in day-to-day use.

Locked settings, clearly shown

For practices where admins want to standardise how reports are generated, SOEP and Generiek presets can now be locked across the organisation. The rest of the team sees a read-only view with a lock icon on each field and a direct link to the admin to request changes.

It prevents configuration drift without hiding anything. Users always know why a setting is greyed out, and who to ask.

A clearer view for partners

Partners now see only the practices they're assigned to, and grant access by searching for the client by name.

A portal that feels lighter

We took the opportunity to give the portal a fresher look as part of this release, with subtle updates to shadows, proportions and spacing. Settings toolbars are more compact, pushed to the top of their panels, leaving more room for the actual content below.

We also updated the guidance in the portal: Talkwise processing now takes 10 to 35 seconds (down from 30 to 90 seconds), and the consult and telephony workflow guides have been rewritten in English, Dutch and German.

Nothing dramatic. Just a portal that feels a little quicker and a little cleaner to work in.

What's next

We're already working on deeper partner analytics and further Talkwise refinements based on what practices have been asking for. As always, the fastest way to shape what we build is the feedback button inside the portal. We read every message.
